Safety Has No Quitting Time!

Ryba Marine’s foremost commitment is to the health and safety of its employees and all parties involved in company projects. Through Ryba Marine’s annual safety training, employees are kept up to date on all new and revised standards that apply to the industry.

Ryba ensures that all employees are competent in all aspects of the work environment they are exposed to through in-house training. This training is administered by Ryba’s Health and Safety Officer, as well as certified guest trainers. Annual training includes Occupational Safety and Health Association Standards (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Standards (MSHA), Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Standards (MIOSHA), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (EM385) Standards, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Training (Hazwoper), medical surveillance and U.S. Coast Guard regulated drug and alcohol screening. Other site specific training aspects that may be necessary including classroom work and hands on training, such as rigging and signal person qualifications.
